The mandate of Young Adult Cancer Canada is to help young adults (15-39 years) deal with cancer.

Young Adult Cancer Canada will be the number one Canadian cancer resource for young adults looking for inspiration, non-medical information and support.

Mission

Young Adult Cancer Canada is committed to building an independent and sustainable cancer resource that provides hope, understanding, and inspiration to young adults by delivering key positive messages and sharing personal experiences of the challenges and triumphs of cancer by those who have experienced this significant life challenge.

Values

• We strive to provide honest, open, and unqualified support for young adults who are dealing with cancer
• We believe in being honest about our fears, frustrations and joys, and using that honesty as a platform from which to find the opportunities in our challenges
• We encourage a positive attitude that is steeped in compassion and understanding
• We believe in building awareness and educating young adults by providing non-medical information that is truthful and accurate, and by sharing our real life experiences for encouragement and support
